Dr. Zelken was raised in New England and embraces the artistry in his craft and that is what drew him to a career in Plastic Surgery.
Dr. Zelken obtained his undergraduate degree in Biology from Cornell University. He was an NCAA Division I Varsity rower at Cornell and competed on the national level with Cornell and the New York Athletic Club. Dr. Zelken went on to pursue a degree in Medicine at Tufts University and spent two years conducting soft tissue research in New York City. The first two scientific articles he authored have been cited 140 times.
He was one of only 2 candidates selected for a combined residency in General Surgery and Plastic Surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital, then rated America’s #1 hospital for 22 years in a row. He was then selected for an equally competitive microsurgery fellowship in Taiwan under the guidance of the world’s most prolific microsurgeon.
Kaeli is the Managing Director of the Zelken Institute. She is also the founder and President of KLC Consulting, an Aesthetic Business Development company specializing in aesthetic device launch and marketing plans for medical practices.
With an extensive track record of success as a sales leader, manager, mentor, and practice consultant in the aesthetic industry, Kaeli leverages 13 years of industry experience and expertise to help physicians achieve steady growth and financial success through multi-faceted practice marketing strategies. Kaeli works to help optimize our practice operations, create innovative marketing plans, manage patient experience and outreach, and ensure the patient experience at the Zelken Institute by far exceeds industry standards
In addition to her practice management experience, Kaeli has worked with leading companies such as Bayer Healthcare, Syneron Candela, Aesthetics BioMedical, Inmode-Invasix and Alma to provide marketing and pull through strategies for their clients
Kaeli is a results-driven, solution-oriented leader with a contagious passion for aesthetic practice development. She earned a B.A. in Business Administration and Marketing from California State University, Dominguez Hills and resides with her family in Orange County, CA. She enjoys playing golf in her spare time.
With over 16 years of experience dedicated exclusively to the cosmetic and Para-Medical Tattooing Industry, Debbie Miller has become one of the orange county’s most well respected techinicians. Cheryl is the Concierge at the Zelken Institute for Aesthetic Medicine. She is a premedical student, aspiring to become a physician in the aesthetic field. She graduated from the University of California Los Angeles and completed her Master’s Degree at the University of California Irvine in Medicine Science and Technology Studies. She has worked in the medical field for over 7 years. She is a wellness advocate and passionate about enhancing beauty. She loves to travel, enjoys wine and adores her French Bulldog puppy.
Heather was born and raised in Southern California. She has spent over ten years working in the medical field, primarily with dermatologists and plastic surgeons. Heather started her career as one of the youngest representatives in the country at Pfizer. She has won multiple awards a a leading skincare sales representative for top medical companies. Heather is passionate about the patient journey and ensuring success before during and well after surgery. When not at the Zelken Institute, she enjoys Pilates, spinning, hiking, going to the beach, traveling and playing with her young son. She has been a ballet dancer for over 15 years and starred in many plays, musicals & shows.
