WHO IS A CANDIDATE FOR FEMTOUCH TREATMENTS?

FemTouch can address vaginal, health-related conditions for women of all ages, from as young as 20, up to 70, or even 80, years old. It’s important to consult with your treatment provider regarding the treatment options available, based on your individual concerns and medical history. Also, breast cancer patients who are not allowed to take estrogen supplements can and should consider this non-hormonal therapy.

Estrogen deficiency can cause pain and dysfunction of the vulva, vagina and urinary tract. If you experience dryness, burning, irritation, lack of lubrication, painful intercourse, stress incontintence or UTIs, you may be a candidate. Vaginal discomfort and urinary incontinence can also occur in pre-menopause and after childbirth. Local estrogen treatment may be effective to treat vaginal changes but the literature is equivocal about the long term benefit of topical treatments alone.

WHAT POST TREATMENT CARE IS REQUIRED?

Vaginal hydrating gel may be prescribed to sooth the vaginal lining and relieve the patient for up to 1 week.

HOW QUICKLY WILL I EXPERIENCE AN IMPROVEMENT?

According to some patient testimonials, an improvement can appear immediately after the treatment, however the vaginal mucosa changes following is a prolonged process that can take 3-6 months and involves new fibers production and new vessels formation.

ARE THERE ANY SIDE-EFFECTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE FEMTOUCH TREATMENT?
